Jonathan Posnett
Director of Strategy and Design,
Co-Founder
Jonathan’s work is built on a single conviction, that clarity, whether in a physical environment, as part of a strategic direction, or in a professional relationship, has the power to transform how people engage with the places, organizations, and people that matter to them.
A designer, strategist, and creative leader with more than 30 years of experience guiding organizations, institutions, and creative firms through complex challenges. In close collaboration with his clients, Jonathan has led design and strategy initiatives for landmark institutions and organizations at every scale, from community-level civic projects to global corporate headquarters to international airports. His work spans healthcare, civic and public space, education, aviation and transportation, hospitality, and workplace environments across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, including clients such as the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian, Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater, Google, Goldman Sachs Headquarters in London, Cedars Sinai Healthcare in LA, and Changi International Airport in Singapore. This breadth of experience reflects a career built not around a single design vernacular, but around the ability to understand and navigate complex organizations and environments from the inside , and always with the human experience at the center.
It is that same depth of understanding that forms the foundation of his strategic leadership practice with creative organizations, guiding principals and leadership teams through periods of growth, evolution, and change.
As Director of Strategy and Design at Oracol, Jonathan's role is to ensure that every client engagement is defined by genuine collaboration and careful listening. He creates the conditions for trust, works closely with clients to understand the full complexity of their challenges, and guides them toward outcomes that are not just effective but meaningful, for their organizations, teams, and the people and communities they serve.
