Shirley Chisholm State Park Wayfinding Signage
Named in honor of Shirley Chisholm, a Brooklyn-born trailblazer who was the first African American Congresswoman, as well as the first woman and African American to run for President, the park offers spectacular panoramic views of New York City.
Working with a team, I researched and illustrated the local flora and fauna to create patterns for exterior directional vinyl signage, trail signage, and to create a portrait to honor her.
